AVENZALABS

Materials, explained simply.

PLA

Our most affordable material and the easiest to print with, giving a smooth, clean finish. It softens in high heat and isn't as impact-resistant as PETG or PETG-CF, so it's best kept away from direct sun or hot environments.

Best for: Decorative items, prototypes, low-stress parts

PETG

Tougher and more flexible than PLA, with good water and chemical resistance. It handles daily knocks and outdoor moisture well, making it our go-to for most household replacement parts.

Best for: Replacement parts, outdoor use, everyday durability

PETG-CF

Reinforced with chopped carbon fibre for extra stiffness and minimal warping during printing. Stronger and more rigid than standard PETG, though the surface finish is slightly more matte and textured.

Best for: Structural brackets, load-bearing parts, engineering fixes

Premium engineering parts (PETG reinforced with carbon fibre for extra stiffness).

PAHT-CF

High-performance industrial parts (a carbon-fibre reinforced nylon).

TPU 95A

Flexible components (a flexible, rubber-like plastic).
